Sea Me competition results

With thoughtful and insightful submissions from schools across Scotland the Centre's Management Committee had a challenging task when selecting a winner of our “Sea Me” animation competition.

Pupils who had viewed the animation Sea Me by Ellan Rankin responded by writing their own messages to encourage people to think about the environmental consequences of dropping litter, and to persuade them to dispose of rubbish responsibly.

Congratulations to Lucy Mollison, P7, Alyth Primary School for winning the competition with the message:

Don’t walk away when something’s lying there. Pick it up . . . and show you care!

Lucy wins a prize of a Fairtrade Bala Football.

We will be organising further competitions to help get schools involved in discussing other important and interesting issues.

Keep checking our website for more opportunities.
