Fife Teachers Conference

Teachers from Fife schools attended the Fife Teachers’ Conference organised by the One World Centre and held at Queen Anne High School in Dunfermline on 30th November, 2015.
The teachers were introduced to the “Liter of Light” project
Local artist, Jen Robson, introduced a range of techniques and ideas for recycling plastics to create jewellery, coasters etc

and teachers then worked with their pupils to design and make their own jewellery, plant-pot holders, mats, Christmas decorations,
purses and calendars from recycled materials.
Teachers were invited to submit entries for “Practical Action’s Plastics Challenge” and Leigh Lownie and here pupils won the competition.
Congratulations to Mrs Lownie and the pupils of Queen Anne High School!
