Making Connections through Learning for Sustainability facilitated online course

The brand new, fully funded, facilitated online course for teachers, Making Connections through Learning for Sustainability, starts on 22nd March  2019.

Aligned with Scotland’s education priorities and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, this professional learning supports teachers  to develop the confidence to plan for, and implement, Learning for Sustainability in your practice, making connections at individual, school and global levels, and inspiring students to collaborate on the issues that shape our world.

The course is available at three levels and involves participation in online discussions and activities at a time that is convenient for you.

Level 2 (6-hours over 6 weeks)

   22nd March – 10th May 2019

Level 3 (12-hours over 10 weeks)

   22nd March – 7th June 2019

Level 4 (18 hours over 3 terms)

   22nd March – 20th December 2019

Developed by Learning for Sustainability Scotland and the University of Edinburgh as part of the new British Council Connecting Classrooms programme in Scotland 2018-21, there is the potential, at Level 4, to achieve GTCS Professional Recognition in Learning for Sustainability.
