Global Citizenship and Children’s Rights for the Early Years

A two-part course allowing participants to explore how a global and rights-based approach to learning is relevant to the early years.

Next session: Wednesdays 24 October and 14 November 2018, 2.00 - 3.30pm at One World Centre, Dundee

Aims are to:

- explore some of our own values and attitudes, and where they have come from

- build our understanding of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) in both a local and global context

- introduce a range of stories, photo-packs and activities to engage young children in the world around them

There will be plenty opportunity for discussion and for participants to share ideas and reflect on their practice.

Fairtrade refreshments provided.

If you would like us to come and run this course as a free twilight or in-service session for your cluster or school, please get in touch.
