Lifelong Learning

We work in partnership to develop and promote global learning with those involved in youth and adult community groups, for example, with Community Learning & Development students from Dundee University.  Detailed below are some of the programmes currently on offer.

Young people are often keen to know more about the world and to explore the links between themselves and those who live overseas. We can offer a variety of creative ideas for engaging young people: banner and kite making, composing songs, writing poetry or simply tasting Fairtrade products. We even have experience of running ‘A Strictly Fairtrade Tea Dance’.

Our adult learning programmes offer the chance to learn more about global, social and environmental justice, to reflect on our role in the world and to research issues of particular interest. Often we will end by thinking of ways in which we might create a fairer world both here and overseas. Whether you are an interested individual, a local community, church, mental health, literacy or ESOL group we can tailor a course to meet your needs. A few possibilities are given below.
