Who we are

The Centre was established in 1984 and is a Scottish charity registered as a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) number SC009618. Its current focus is Education for Global Citizenship. The work of the Centre is carried out by four part-time experienced members of staff with volunteer support. Their work is overseen by a committed and active volunteer Management Committee.

The One World Centre is part of the International Development Education Association of Scotland (IDEAS) – a network of organisations and individuals involved in Development Education and Education for Global Citizenship across Scotland.
